Victoria Victorilux 3×10 Boutique Combo Amp EL84’s
$1,799.99
Widely praised by recording artists, session guitarists, and discerning players with a careful ear, the Victoria Victorilux is one of the warmest, sweetest sounding amps on the planet. Features a very unique 3×10 configuration with three beautifully warm sounding Jensen Made in Italy P10R speakers – perfectly paired for this amp by the maker himself. These amps don’t come up very often and sell fast when they do – the people who own them keep them. Incredible bang for your buck.
This amp is made with the best of both worlds with the elements of both the Blackface Fender era and the Brownface era.
It has a huge bottom end and an amazing tonal character we have not been able to find in other amps, including vintage Blackface and Brown era Fenders.
Big fat cleans with plenty of volume and headroom unlike most Fender and Fender–style amps of the same wattage, with a volume knob that can take you into beautiful overdrive without having to go too loud just to get it to break up.
You don’t have to go way too loud to get the best overdrive tones, but you also have plenty of clean headroom at band levels – it’s the perfect versatile Fender-style amp that can do things no Blackface or Brownface Fender can, both tone-wise and functionally.
Besides being the perfect live and recording amp, these Victoriluxes are nice and lightweight due to the solid pine cabinet instead of thick plywood used on 99% of amps. The 10″ speakers also help make it lightweight.
The cabinet sings, and the baffle adds to the HUGE open aura of the amp’s room-filling sound. This is why the best amp builders focus so much energy on cabinet construction. Another thing Fender, as good as they were, got wrong.
This Victorilux is in great shape. Just a few very minor scuffs or marks. In my studio it was played, but never abused.
