1998 Gibson Les Paul Special (NASCAR Rocks America)

Now a regular Gibson Les Paul Special is nothing to write home about, but this particular guitar has one heck of a back story. This guitar was an apology gift from NASCAR given to the previous owner attending the NASCAR Rocks America Concert at the E-Centre in the late 90’s due to a misunderstanding involving a disgruntled road manager who was working for the Allman Brothers during they’re run with the NASCAR Rocks America Concerts. The guitar includes 3 copies of the Owner’s complaint letters to NASCAR as well as the response letters from both NASCAR and the John Schreiber Group. It is quite an amazing story and makes for an interesting read. Makes for a great wall hanger/conversation starter as well as a great playing/sounding guitar!
